Why there are striking similarities between Lord Ganesha and Janus?
Philologist, William Jones, in 1785 saw shocking similarities between Dwimukhi-Ganesha, and Janus, the two-headed Roman god. The likeness between the two was so strong that he referred Ganesha as the “Janus of India.”
